Farewell to the tiny Ferris wheel
Submitted by wahei on Thu, 2006-08-31 21:15.
Otaru Park, familiar as the place of recreation and relaxation to the people of Otaru in Hokkaido is going to be redeveloped from next year. Based on this plan, Childrens Land, which is part of the park as the amusement facility for children is also going to be temporarily closed for improvement.

Although the wheel is quite small in diameter, the advantageous geographical conditions that it is built on the hilltop enables us to enjoy a wonderful view of the city when a gondola reaches the highest point.
Disappearance of this endearing tiny Ferris wheel will be missed, and ring in peoples heart for many years to come.
